Ron van horssen
Founder, Chairman and Managing Partner
Mr. Van Horssen is a visionary leader, CEO and award-winning entrepreneur. He founded and built the largest diagnostic imaging and therapeutic services company in the world in the mid-1980s through 1992 and played an important role in the early commercialization of MRI in healthcare. He served in senior leadership roles in two national healthcare management consulting firms and has founded and served as CEO, chairman or board member in a number of companies across a range of industries. Ron has consulted with universities and national laboratories (NASA, Los Alamos and INL) on the commercialization of new technology and has advised and mentored management teams on strategic planning, organization, capital finance and implementation plans. In 1989, he was named an Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine and Arthur Young. Mr. Van Horssen received an M.S. in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. (honors) in chemical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
ethan bindelglas, m.D.

Ethan was a pioneer in the concept of retainer/concierge medicine and founded Arcadia Personal Physicians, which was one of the first concierge practices in the country. He has been involved in over 30 phase II or phase III FDA clinical trials and is an advisor for the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute. Dr. Bindelglas serves as a medical volunteer in Arizona and has volunteered in medical clinics and mobile medical units in Ethiopia, Thailand, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, and Timor Leste. He is currently the chairman of the Banner Committee for Continuing Inter-professional Education and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Arizona. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Bindelglas had a career in land investment and development. He was graduated from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Banner University Hospital, (Phoenix). He received a B.A. in economics from Claremont McKenna College.
DAVE halstead
Partner
Mr. Halstead has over 40 years of experience as a leader in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Following 25 years in commercial and investment banking across all sectors in senior roles with Bank of America and Continental Illinois National Bank, Dave was a managing partner with a private equity firm until his retirement in 2009. While in private equity, his focus was on middle market manufacturing and industrial firms, although his experience and expertise includes other industries as well. He has served on many boards including not-for-profit institutions and was the chairman of a not-for-profit Chicago area hospital. He presently serves on the board of Industrial Steel Corporation. A graduate of Cortland College with a B.A. in economics, Dave received an M.B.A. from Cornell University in finance and accounting. Dave is also a military veteran having served in the Navy.
john heinrich, ph.D.

Dr. Heinrich is a seasoned executive with more than forty years’ experience in founding operating, acquiring and selling companies in a range of high technology industries. In the 1980s be played a key role in the development of mobile magnetic resonance imaging. As president of the US subsidiary of a French medical equipment company, he achieved results that were instrumental in one of the first technology IPOs in France. He has served as president of diagnostic imaging and medical diagnostics companies and founded companies in medical software and scientific instrumentation. Dr. Heinrich currently serves as the managing partner of three analytical equipment companies and on the board of directors of Sensus Healthcare Inc., an international cancer treatment equipment company traded on NASDAQ. Dr. Heinrich received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in metallurgical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and served four years in the United States Air Force in research and intelligence positions.
TOM Sullivan

Tom is a senior level middle-market investment professional and business leader. Mr. Sullivan has played a lead role investing in and assisting over 200 companies, management teams, boards and investors with private capital raises and M&A transactions in excess of $15 billion across a range of industries. He has extensive knowledge of capital structures and terms ranging from senior debt to private equity, and a global network of relationships in the private equity, venture capital, family office, hedge fund, and strategic investor community. Tom is the founder of Pets Choice, a veterinary services company with clinics in five states. He authored the initial business plan, recruited senior management, secured funding and held the lead director role while growing the business to over $60 million in revenue before selling to its public competitor. Mr. Sullivan has also held operating roles in the healthcare, energy and auto sectors. Tom received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
